An invented chat, written to explain what to ask. This is not a real customer or seller exchange.
“wts battery, good condi, fast deal”
“what cells ah?”
“good cells bro”
good cells is compliment only leh, i asking what model
then next photo come in. nice black casing, got handle. seller took six photos of the handle
the label? blur until cannot read
knn, the one thing we need to read
Ask battery first, discount later
Bro, trying to save money is fair lah. Nobody saying must buy the most expensive one in the group.
Before nego, ask the bits that change the decision:
- How old is it?
- Got a receipt or build record?
- Dropped before?
- Water got in before?
- Repaired or changed anything?
- Which charger was it actually used with?
“No issue so far” can be the seller’s honest experience. Still doesn’t answer all those questions.
If they donno, just write down donno lah. Don’t anyhow fill in the missing history for them.
“can turn on leh”
Ya lah, can turn on means it turned on.
It doesn’t tell us the pack’s history, prove its capacity, or tell us what current the complete battery can handle.
Same for the case lah. Nice outside is nice outside. One photo cannot clear the inside for use.
Keep the pack closed. Don’t open it yourself to check. Don’t charge a damaged battery for a video demonstration either.
Aiyo, ask if it’s the original battery too. SCDF advises against non-original batteries for PMDs and PABs. Original also doesn’t mean damage-proof; the history still matters.

Will it fit your bike or not?
Siao ah, same voltage doesn’t mean can fit. Still need the model, mounting, connector and charger details. “Can fit” and “compatible” are two different questions.
History missing and compatibility unclear? Leave the deal alone lor. No need to win every listing.
Want a first look? Send the listing and whatever label, mount, connector and charger photos u have. Keep the pack closed. Don’t buy it just so we can identify it.
