Stepped modules: measuring each level

A stepped outline changes more than the case. Boards, cables and the route into the compartment need space too.

Two stepped battery modules showing insulation layers, routed wiring and boards on top.

These two stepped assemblies are examples from our build archive, not a product listing or a universal fit pattern.

The step is there before the case.

The stepped outline is visible before any outside case goes on. Above the cells, boards and cables occupy their own space.

For a shape like this, show every change in level. One overall length and width will leave half the story out.

Show the route in, too.

The finished pack still needs a way into its compartment. A wide photo, dimensions at each level and a view of the opening help us discuss the shape.
