A battery for a different-shaped space

Got a step, a narrow neck or a frame tube in the way? Show us the whole shape before deciding how much battery can go inside.

T-shaped battery module with exposed cell connections on a workshop bench.

The awkward bit is the important bit

A rectangle is easy to describe. Then the frame sticks into one corner, the lid takes another bit, and suddenly it isn't a rectangle anymore.

Show the complete outline. For a T-shaped or stepped space, draw each section and mark length, width and height in millimetres. Include brackets, locks and narrow openings.

Fits inside. Can get inside or not?

The opening may be smaller than the space behind it. We also need clearance to insert and remove the battery, plus room for the cable and connector.

Send a wide photo and close views with a ruler. A simple sketch helps connect the numbers. Include where the cable needs to leave the case.

The cells do not get all that space

The holder needs to locate the cells. Insulating sheets need to separate nearby parts. Busbars, terminal tabs, the BMS and cable bends need their own room. An outside dimension is not the same as usable cell space.

Shape is only one part of the brief

Add the bike or equipment model, battery and charger labels, and connector photos. If parts have changed, include the controller and motor details u have.

Don't choose a capacity first and expect the space to negotiate with us. We need to review the shape and the electrical requirements together.

Custom Battery lets u choose options and see the total. Put the dimensions and size limits in the order notes, and ask before ordering if the fit is still unclear.
