  • Cell Make / Model & Specs

    The C discharge rating is a measure of how quickly a battery can safely discharge as a multiple of the battery's capacity. For example, a 5Ah battery with 1C rating means that it can be discharged at 5A, a 5Ah battery with 3C rating can discharge at 15A. The C rating is the maximum safe discharge rate of the battery. Exceeding the C rating can lead to reduced battery life, overheating, damage and even a fire risk.

    Capacity Grading

    Capacity Grading is a crucial process to ensure uniformity and consistency in the performance of individual battery cells. This process groups cells based on minute differences in milliampere-hours (mAh) to ensure that batteries in the same pack have very similar capacities. Lower mAh range gradings lead to more precise matches, reducing the chance of future complications due to mismatched capacities, like imbalanced discharging or premature wear.

    50mAh range: This is our standard range
    ensuring a good balance of performance and value. This is also the range our cells are initially controlled to upon arrival from our suppliers.

    25mAh range: A premium grading that offers a tighter capacity match
    reducing potential issues in the long run. This option requires additional testing on our part to ensure that every cell meets this stringent criterion, hence a nominal fee will be charged to cover the added labor and equipment time. Choosing this grading can be especially beneficial for high-performance applications where every detail matters.
